we need a sheepherd

Is. 40:11, He tends His flock like a shepherd. He gathers he lambs in His arms and carrys them close to His heart. He gently leads....  Shepherds live with their sheep, finding places for them to eat and drink, providing them shelter from the storms, and protection from the heat. Sheep must eat and drink the right amt. each and every day to survive. without their shepherd they would die. The shepherd must plan carefully the path and lead the way, so the sheep have what they need. Sheep are more needy than other animals. they have the instinct to run when faced with any type of danger or change. they do not have self presveration, to fight as most animals do. So this would not allow the sheep to last very long, that is why they need a shepherd to care for them. Not to be mean but, sheep are dumb, can not be left alone, and often stray. (does this sound a slight bit familar). A shepherd never pushes his sheep, but he leads them, going before them making sure they are not in any danger and on the right path. Are you letting the Shepherd lead you or are you going a stray, going in your own direction, making your own path, look at Ps.40:1-3, I waited patiently for the LORD and HE inclined to me,and heard my cry. HE also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay and set my feet on upon a rock and directed my steps. If we have strayed and find ourself in a terrible pit we can be sure our Shepherd will find us and pull us out and put back on the right path, and he will lead the way. Call out to HIM today. HE will hear you. read PS.23:1-6 and meditate on the needs the Shepherd meets for the sheep. I am so thankful Jesus is my Shepherd, what bout you?

hey friends I know it's been a while, been busy. God is so good! all the time! I had the priviledge to go to youth evangelist conference this last month and it was awsome. I would like to share some things that I brought home with me. first I chose to beleive: I won't dwell on my failures and imperfections, I choose to beleive God has a plan for my life---HE wants me as HIS living creation, not a slave to self destruction. In other words He wants me to serve HIm and not my self. also want to share his Thank You; Thank you Father for my eyes that I see, my ears that I hear, my legs that I dance, my arms that hug and my heart that beats for YOU!  Is it not just the most awsome thing in the world to know that GOD love you and wants to bless you and use you for HIS glory. It makes me want to shout, wooo, halleluiah!!!! Be blessed my friends, till next time :)

how to cry out to GOD

hey friends, I want to share something from one of my favorite preacher/teacher Dr. Charles Stanley; How to Cry out to God; [Matthew 14:29-30] Bad news, danger, and pain all cause us to look for help. As beleivers, we dwell with the Almighty GOD, who is able to aid us. At those moments when we are sideswiped by life's circumstances, we should cry out to him. In the Bible, crying out refers to speaking audibly with great emotion concerning an urgent need. GOD invites us to use this form of prayer to communicate that we desperately need His mercy. It takes both faith and humility to share our heart's concerns aloud. Crying out is a way for GOD's children to express trust in the Lord's ability and willingness to help. By calling on Him with such urgency, we also lay down our pride and any attitude of self sufficiency..[ Wow did you hear what that said, are we like that, are we full of pride and do we think we are self sufficient? ]The word of GOD assures us that our Father hears our crys and responds. In Psalms 3:4, for example, David wrote,"I was crying to the Lord with my voice and He answered from His holy mountain."  When we call aloud for help in Jesus' name, we invite His power into the situation. Remember there is strength in just speaking His name.

GOD'S chariots

My dear sweet friend Missy gave me a book "The Christians Secret of a Happy Life" and I would like to share this from the book. The Bible tells us when God went forth for the salvation of His people, then He did ride upon His horses and chariots of salvation' and it is the same now. The clouds and storms that darken our skies and seem to shut out the shining of the sun, are really only God's chariots. Have you made the clouds in your life your chariots? Are you riding prosperously with God on top of them all? Our constant temptation is to trust in "the chariots of Egypt" or in other words in earthly resources. We can see them; they are tangible and real and look substantial; while God's chariots are invisible and intangible, and it is hard to beleive they are there. The great point, then is to recognize each thing that comes to us as being really God's chariot for us and accept it as fromHim. He does not command or originate the thing, perhaps; but the moment we put it into His hands, it becomes His and He at once turns it into a chariot for us. He makes all things, even bad things, work together for good to all those who trust Him. All He needs is to have it entirely committed to Him. Have you got any God made chariots in your life? We all should!! Think about it. If we gave every thing; all our trials and temptations, all ours hurts and frustrastions to Him, we could climb right into the will of God just as a little child climbs into their mother's arms. GET INTO YOUR CHARIOT!!!!!

GOD always is right on time

Have you ever got up and really been worried about your day. You talk with GOD and lay it all out and you still don't have an answer or a peace. Well let me tell yall something HE taught me today about trust and faith. Like I said I talked to HIM from the bottom of my heart this morning, and just did not have an immediate peace, but let me tell you, while we were sitting in the office where our family appointment was. GOD showed up! HE let me know right there in that office, HE is always with us when we need HIM even when we don't feel that peace, it is there. Thank GOD HE Loves us enough to show up and let us know thing are O.K. and all is well.

SURRENDERI

If you begin to question your surrender or GOD'S acceptance of it, then your wavering faith will produce a wavering experience. You will find it a great help to put your reckoning into words, say over and over to yourself , and to your GOD "LORD I am Your's I yeild myself up entirely to You, and I beleive that You accept me. I leave myself with You. Work in me all the good pleasures of Your will." and I will only lie still in YOUR HANDS and trust YOU. This is a paragraph from the book "The Christian"s Secret of a Happy Life" by Hannah Whitall Smith. I had to share it wih yall because it is so good. If we could only get to this place where we just lie still in GOD'S HANDS, oh how very Happy we could be. Can you see what I mean?

THE SPIRIT- FILLED LIFE

THE SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE IS A LIFE OF FAITH. IT STARTED BY FAITH AND IT RUNS ON FAITH. IT IS FAITH FROM START TO FINISH. WHEN IT COMES TO RIGHTEOUSNESS WHETHER FOR SALVATION OR FOR LIVING WE MUST ALLOW GOD TO DO THE WORK. IF NOT, WHAT A MESS WE COULD MAKE,OR WE DO MAKE. THE BIBLE NEVER MAKE A DISTINCTION BETWEEN THE FAITH THAT SAVED US FROM THE PENALTY OF SIN, ONCE AND FOR ALL AND THE FAITH THAT SAVES US FROM SIN, EVERY DAY.IT IS ALL THE SAME. SO WHAT IS FAITH? FAITH IS BELEIVING GOD WILL DO AS HE HAS PROMISED, FAITH IS NOT A POWER OR SOMETHING WE'RE SUPPOSED TO DRUM UP INSIDE OF OURSELVES.OH!! WHAT A MESS I WOULD HAVE! FAITH IS TRUSTING GOD WILL HONOR ALL HIS PROMISES. THATS ALL THERE IS TO IT. WE ARE TO GO ABOUT OUR LIVES MAKING DECISIONS,HANDLING CRISIS, RAISING OUR FAMILIES AND SO ON, AS IF GOD WILL REALLY DO WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD DO. [AND OF CORSE HE DOES]  THAT IS WHAT IT IS!!!!
